SSWA was founded in 1994 by a group of community workers interested in the improvement of the standard of life of the disadvantaged sections of society, particularly the rural masses, through a variety of socio-economic services. The organization stands registered with Directorate of Social Welfare Government of Sindh Pakistan, under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961), which deals with local communities and civil societies for their social development and fundamental. The NGO is involved in the socio-economic development activities, on a self-help and participatory basis, particularly in the areas of education, health, human rights, minorities rights, against religious extremism and terrorism, torture through multidisciplinary approach, peace, equality and social justice, HIV\/AIDS, against drugs and corruption, poverty, environment (climate change), rural &amp; agriculture development, and other with emphasis on child welfare, women &amp; youth development etc. The organization seeks to coordinate with the government and other donor agencies for social development in rural and urban areas of Sindh. SSWA is a dynamic platform for different religious and creeds for their better social protection and promotion of their civil rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sahkar Social Welfare Association (<\/strong>\u0633\u06c1\u06a9\u0627\u0631 \u0633\u0648\u0634\u0644 \u0648\u06cc\u0644\u0641\u0626\u06cc\u0631 \u0627\u06cc\u0633\u0648\u0633\u06cc \u0627\u06cc\u0634\u0646<strong>) <\/strong>also aims to achieve the objectives from the social business initiative: Eradication of illiteracy: As Pakistan stands among those nations where the literacy rate hardly reaches fifty percent, and the low-literacy rate is one of the main hurdles in the development of the country. Besides, the low literacy is also causing the emergence of ill-taught and misguided youth who consequently become tools in the hands of terrorists. <strong>SSWA<\/strong> is strongly working against religious extremism, ensuring qualitative education: Along with the primary goal to eradicate illiteracy, quality of education also counts. In Pakistan, three types of educational institutes are functioning: governmental, private, and Madarsas (religious schools). The governmental schools are administered and funded by the government; the private schools are administered and financed by a group or an individual; and the madarsas (religious schools) are working by religious scholars. In spite of claims, the quality of education is still substandard.\u00a0<strong>SSWA<\/strong>\u00a0targets to uplift the quality of education in Pakistan. She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). Actively engaged in advocating for children's and women's rights within the Association, her responsibilities include coordinating with various organizations and agencies that operate orphanage centers to enhance children's learning capabilities, particularly in the children education project. She also contributes to developing educational standards and supports established policies, procedures, and programs.
